Alliance for Patriotic Reorientation and Construction (APRC) has expelled five members from the party effect from Thursday, January 9, 2020.

Press release from the bureau of the former resident Yahya Jammeh’s political part signed by Dodou Jah, deputy party spokesperson said the expulsion came as a decision of by the interim party leader, Fabakary Tombong Jatta acting under executive powers vested on him by the party Constitution, and in consultation with the National Executive Committee, and founder of the party former President Yahya A.J.J. Jammeh.

Informing the general public and APRC militants the release said the expulsion of Kittim Jarju of Germany, Sulayman Shyngle Nyassi of UK, Nabou Saho of Sweden, Councillor Lamin Ceesay Asampulo Atti Jammeh Kunda of Brikama and Amie Jammeh of Germany was necessitated to redress their actions and behaviors that pose threat of jeopardizing the harmony and unity of the party.

It could be recalled that Sulayman Shyngle Nyassi and reknowned APRC member resident in UK recently called on former President Yahya Jammeh who is now exiled in Equatorial Guinea to expel some officials of the party including the interim leader Fabakary Tombong Jatta but ended up being victim of expulsion.

“By this action, all of them may not use the name of the party or act in any way representing APRC,” said the party dispatch.

It urged all supporters of the APRC to take note and remove them from all APRC WhatsApp forums with immediate effect, adding that an official written letter/press release will follow suit shortly.
