Barrow preaches peace, blows his own trumpet, praises the opposition

President Adama Barrow has caution citizens to vote peacefully on election day, Saturday, December 4, 2021 so that they can continue to live in peace and harmony.

He praised the opposition parties for their peaceful campaigning, stating that he believes that the country does not need violence.

Speaking at a rally at Buuffer Zone in Tallinding yesterday, he took the credit of providing security for all the opposition candidates.

“If no one praised government for that, I will praise my government for it,” he blew his own trumpet.

Barrow who predicted his victory said:  “And if I win the election, I want us to be one, One Gambia, One Nation, One People because I want to govern the whole country not just a fraction of it,” he said.

“If we are to vote let us do it peacefully,” the NPP presidential candidate echoed.

Adama noted that the election will be a victory for the Gambia not for any single individual, adding that it should not be considered loss or win game.

The Gambian leader pointed out that there is freedom and security during the campaign period and advised that should continue.

He said that the opposition parties should think like him, adding that he does not want “politics personality”.

He said that he will move the country forward and anyone who also want to move the country forward should join him in his crusade.

He indicated that the NPP led coalition is stronger than any opposition party contesting in the December presidential the election.
