President Barrow and the ‘former minister’
By D. A. Jawo
Since President Adama Barrow made his famous speech on Koriteh day while addressing the Muslim Elders at State House during which he also referred to a former minister who made unpleasant remarks against his government’s street clearing exercise, virtually everyone is of the view that he was referring to me.
I wish to reiterate however that he was definitely not referring to me because not only that I never wrote anything negative about the exercise but I am also a supporter of the process, which I believe is necessary.
I therefore hope that next time round he should mention names rather than just making vague aspersions which would be open to speculations.
